Diamondback Haanjo Exp Carbon Gravel Bike - 2017

"Diamondback Haanjo EXP Carbon Gravel Bike - 2017. When your definition of what constitutes a road gets a little flexible, there's only one bike you need: The Diamondback Haanjo EXP Carbon gravel bike. The original Haanjo was one of our favorite bikes when it was first launched a couple of years ago, and it remains our go to when versatility is key. The Carbon model takes it up a notch with smart features, a great spec, and well thought out design. The heart of the new Haanjo is a full carbon fiber frame and fork that are built lightweight, stiff and tough for a new breed of road rider who doesn't let the adventure end just because the pavement does. Diamondback also took a look at the original alloy Haanjo, and found a few places they could improve things to meet customer demands. The bike has braze-ons for front and rear rack mounts and fenders, front and rear thru axles, and room for 40+mm tires that can churn through single track, Midwestern gravel, and yes--even pavement. The Haanjo carbon can even be run with a 27.5 wheel with 2.1 tires, or 700x28mm+ road wheels. The Diamondback Haanjo EXP isn't called the expedition for nothing though. Smart and versatile components make this the ultimate trekking and touring bike. A Shimano Deore 3x9 drivetrain with barcon shifters mean that shifting is easy and reliable, and more importantly when you're far from home, easily serviced and repaired. Mechanical disc brakes provide all-weather and all terrain stopping power, with the reliability of a mechanical cable which can be easily repaired or replaced almost anywhere in the world. The Haanjo EXP rolls on a set of HED Tomcat tubeless ready wheels, wrapped up in 27.5x2.1 tires that can take you from dirt, to gravel to pavement, and back again."
